This exceptional large vintage Moroccan Talsint rug originates from the Aït Bouchaoun area, in southeastern Morocco, a region known for its deeply expressive Berber textiles. Handwoven during the mid to late 20th century, this rare piece reflects the raw and instinctive weaving tradition of the Talsint tribes. Made from 100% natural sheep wool, this rug features an all-over abstract composition built around rhythmic diamond formations and spontaneous variations. The color palette blends deep magenta, purple, soft pink, charcoal, and natural wool tones, creating a rich visual texture with remarkable depth. These nuanced colors and irregular patterns are characteristic of authentic vintage Talsint rugs and cannot be reproduced by modern production. With its impressive dimensions of 200 × 350 cm, this rug is ideal for large interiors, open living spaces, long rooms, or architectural projects. The wool pile is dense, both warm, and textured, offering comfort and durability. Over time, the rug has developed a beautiful natural patina that enhances its character and authenticity. This one-of-a-kind Moroccan rug works perfectly in modern, bohemian, eclectic, or design-led interiors, where its scale and tribal presence can truly stand out.
