INGRAVID FOREST 126 is part of a series inspired by Magritte and contemporary surrealism. This work is part of a series that sublimates the natural and the impossible into a single vision. In “Ingravid Forest,” the trunks float without roots, stripped of the gravity that binds them to the ground. The landscape becomes the stage of the improbable: a forest that is not sustained by the laws of physics, but by the rules of imagination. The reference to Magritte is not accidental: like him, the artist invites us to contemplate a world where the ordinary becomes strange, and the impossible, evident. The trees suspended in the air compel us to rethink the concept of what is organic and stable, while the chromatic play — with electric blues, incandescent reds, and deep shadows — intensifies the dreamlike atmosphere. This series poses essential questions: What happens when we take the weight out of nature? Can weightlessness reveal another dimension of the landscape, one more emotional than physical? “Ingravid Forest” is both a metaphor and a provocation, a visual liberation act that defies logic to reveal a new poetic space. “Ingravid Forest” in itself evokes a powerful image: floating trees that challenge not only physics but also our perception of what a forest should be. -About the artist: The artist has exhibited her work in Almería, Spain; Dortmund, Germany; Porto Alegre, Brazil; Instituto Cervantes in Paris; Art & Planét Gallery, Paris, France; Los Angeles, California, USA; Montreal, Canada; Vienna, Austria; Barcelona, Spain; New York, USA, among others. -Technical details of the work: Acrylic on high-quality cotton canvas Dimensions: 100 cm x 75 cm (+ bleed margin) Signed on the back and protected with varnish Original certificate of authenticity handwritten and signed -Note: Colors may vary slightly depending on monitor settings and lighting of the space where the photograph was taken.
