A textile art piece of rare beauty and exceptional availability, this fabric represents the utmost expression of Made in Italy coming from the prestigious silk mills of the Como area, a district famous worldwide for excellence and high fashion. The fabric stands out for an intriguing and luxurious geometric-organic micro-mottled weave, reminiscent of reptile skin reinterpreted in a contemporary and extremely chic key. A dark base meets a surface layer in antique gold, bronze and metallic tones. The reaction to light is spectacular: every fold creates changing, three-dimensional glints that give the fabric movement and a magnetic character. Reverse side: the back of the fabric presents a refined solid black finish, testimony to a high-caliber craftsmanship that keeps the fabric substantial yet flexible. Size 480 × 135 cm: a generous meterage, ideal for projects with ample scope. Weighs 550 grams total (about 85 g/m²): a light-to-medium weight that provides a sturdy yet fluid hand, ensuring a dramatic drape and just the right amount of slip. Thanks to its texture and opulent visual impact, this high-fashion fabric lends itself magnificently to various exclusive uses: Haute Fashion and Clothing: Perfect for creating structured evening gowns, bespoke formal jackets, lightweight haute couture trenches, corsets or sculptural-volume skirts. Elite Interior Design: Ideal for furnishing elements capable of redefining a room, such as dramatic table runners, decorative cushions for luxurious environments or accent drapes for eclectic and sophisticated interiors. Note of uniqueness: A length so substantial in pure Como silk, characterized by a complex and contemporary metallic finish, is a true collectible piece, unattainable through ordinary commercial channels. The colors and live condition are similar to those in the photos. The photos are part of the description. It is in excellent condition. Never used. Brand new. Will be shipped with trackable shipping.
