Extraordinary 100% pure silk fabric cut of exceptional quality, from the historic Como textile manufacturing area in Italy. Como silk is renowned worldwide for its natural sheen, soft hand, and intrinsic elegance. The fabric features a nattè weave, clearly visible in the close-up photos. This particular interwoven pattern, either checked or Panama-like, gives the fabric a substantial hand and an interesting tactile feel, setting it apart from smoother silks. The color is a refined, neutral light cream or ecru, very versatile and suitable for a variety of uses. Size: 500 cm x 140 cm. It’s a generous area, ideal for more complex sewing projects, such as full outfits, jacket-trousers ensembles, draped long skirts, or even luxury home decor elements like wide drapes or coverings. It weighs 460 grams total, about 65 grams per square meter. This weight places it among medium-lightweight silks, with a fluid drape yet enough body and structure thanks to the nattè weave, making it suitable for both clothing and light tailoring. This fabric, thanks to its combination of prestige (Como silk), particular weave (nattè), and generous size, is ideal for: * Haute fashion tailoring: daywear dresses that are structured yet light, chic summer jackets, pleated or circle skirts with substantial drape. * Ceremony and Bridal: Perfect for minimalist yet refined wedding dresses, or elegant guest outfits. * Luxury interior design: Lightweight yet substantial drapery, refined decorative cushions, table runners or elegant tablecloths for special occasions. * Accessories: Large scarves or stoles for important evenings. In short, this is a piece of silk of the very highest quality, versatile thanks to its color and texture, ready to be transformed into a timeless luxury garment or object. Live colors and conditions are similar to those in the photos. The photos are part of the description. It is in excellent condition. Never used. Brand new. Will be shipped with trackable shipping.
