This precious Italian-made fabric is a classic example of high-density Jacquard/Damask weaving. The cotton-polyester blend gives it the softness and natural feel of natural fibers, combined with the strength and structural stability of polyester, ideal for preserving shapes over time. With a substantial weight (approximately 600 g/m², considering 3.2 kg for 5.30 x 1.35 m), it presents as a heavy, substantial, and imposing fabric. Motif and Colors The base has a warm golden-champagne tone with tone-on-tone motifs integrated into the fabric’s weave. The piece is structured with an alternation of decorative bands: * Central bands rich in multifulged medallions enclosed by a golden/sage green twisted frame, which enclose floral bouquets. * Embossed bands with geometrized weave in champagne tones and micro-details in blue/grey. * Separation borders decorated with elegant Greek-inspired volute motifs. The bunches of embroidered/fabric flowers stand out in coral red, ochre yellow, powder pink, orange, and sage green, providing a lively color contrast while maintaining timeless elegance. From the back images the complex multi-weave Jacquard workmanship is clearly evident. The fabric fall is soft yet structured, ideal for classic upholstery work. Possible Uses in Home Furnishings * Upholstery and Soft Furnishings: * Covering for armchairs, classic sofas, vintage chairs, or bed headboards.
