Baccarat - Drinking set (7) - Scales & Fillets - Crystal

Set of seven tall water or cocktail glasses (highball/tumbler type) made of translucent crystal. Features a carved or faceted honeycomb / water-drop (honeycomb / thumbprint) pattern on the lower band and fine horizontal ringed grooves or engravings on the upper part. Period / Era: 1900s–1920s. Produced by Baccarat's excellent crystal workshop, model Ecailles & Filets, made in France around the early 20th century. Refined edges in incised filigree with the characteristic honeycomb or scale motif carved on the lower side. This elegant combination of engraving and incision is typical of Baccarat luxury crystal production from the Belle Époque period. Condition: Discontinued. Measurements: height 11.8 cm × 7 cm.
