Very beautiful and highly sought-after, the smallest of the eighteenth-century portable money-changer scales, easily transportable, concealed in a pocket used by master goldsmiths when purchasing gold or silver coins to estimate their weight; hence, glued to the lid one discovers a table of gold and silver coins that circulate in the different countries of Europe. Meanwhile, the inner compartment sculpted in the mass contains a small folding trebuchet, a small arrowhead missing I think, with strings and its brass cups and a Godet-type weight pile for the weights. Small aluminum squares for small coins or gold powder, two securing hooks. An extremely rare object in exceptional condition for its age, remains a sought-after item. A collector's piece or splendid decoration, guaranteed wow effect. Fast, careful shipping with tracking and insured.
