Ballantine's Finest Scotch Whisky – Vintage Italian Bottlings – 75cl, 1 Litre & 70cl – 3 Bottles A collection of three vintage bottles of Ballantine's Finest Scotch Whisky, produced and bottled in Scotland by George Ballantine & Son Limited and imported into Italy by Spirit S.p.A., Genoa. The lot consists of three bottles in different formats: - 1 x 75cl – 40% vol. - 1 x 1 litre – 40% vol. - 1 x 70cl – 40% vol. All three bottles feature the distinctive historic Ballantine's Finest design, with the traditional cream-coloured labels, red Ballantine's seal and characteristic neck labels referring to the Royal Appointments. The bottles were imported for the Italian market and retain their original Italian tax strips. The different bottle formats, historic labels and original closures make this an interesting collection for collectors of vintage Ballantine's and historic Scotch whisky bottlings. The exact bottling years cannot be established with certainty from the labels and tax strips alone. For this reason, the bottles are described as vintage/old bottlings rather than being assigned a specific year. Bottle details: - Brand: Ballantine's - Expression: Finest Scotch Whisky - Type: Blended Scotch Whisky - Producer: George Ballantine & Son Limited - Country of production: Scotland - Bottled in Scotland - Alcohol: 40% vol. - Number of bottles: 3 - Formats: 75cl, 1 litre and 70cl - Italian importer: Spirit S.p.A., Genoa - Vintage: Not stated Condition: All three bottles are sealed and have good levels of liquid. The bottles show visible signs of age. The labels have areas of staining, discolouration, creasing and general age-related wear. The neck labels, closures and original Italian tax strips also show signs of ageing, as clearly visible in the photographs. The bottles appear to be free from leakage. The photographs are an integral part of the description and show the exact bottles included in this lot. A distinctive collection of vintage Ballantine's Finest bottles, particularly suitable for collectors of historic Scotch whisky and old Italian-market bottlings.
