Baltic Amber and 925 Silver Earrings

Baltic Amber and 925 Silver Earrings

atural pear-shaped amber cabochons, suspended on 925 sterling silver findings with a leverback closure. The cognac and cherry tones of the stone, threaded with golden reflections and fine natural inclusions, beautifully catch the light at the slightest movement. Baltic amber is a fossilized resin over 40 million years old, born from the conifer forests that once covered northern Europe. Carried by the sea, it washes up on the shores of Poland, Lithuania, and Kaliningrad, where it is still gathered after storms—a tradition of "amber fishing" that has lasted for centuries. The Romans already called it "the gold of the North" and traded it at great value for entire trade routes. A solar stone par excellence, amber is traditionally associated with warmth, vitality, and grounding. It is believed to have soothing properties, capable of absorbing negative energies and fostering self-confidence. -----‐---‐ The leverback is an articulated closure system, renowned for its reliability: once clipped, the earring back stays securely in place, with no risk of falling or loss. 1. Secure shipping with tracking number. 2. Shipped twice a week. For Europe and internationally, delivery times can vary from 8 to 15 days depending on destination and customs clearance times at the borders. 3. All my stones are genuine, without color treatment, resin, or plastic. They have all been carefully selected, but as they are natural and handmade products, they may sometimes show small imperfections. 4. The stones have changing reflections depending on light, indoor lighting, or sunlight. Photos were taken with appropriate lighting. I always try to faithfully reproduce the natural colors of the stone. 5. Unlike mass-produced jewelry, a handmade gemstone and silver piece made by hand, even of high quality, may show slight marks or traces that attest to its authenticity. Thank you for your interest and happy bidding.
