Bang & Olufsen - BeoLink Converter NL/ML / Network Link...

The BeoLink Converter NL/ML bridges the gap between the new Network Link and the familiar Master Link. Music and commands are digitally transmitted via Network Link (based on Ethernet technology), while Master Link uses analog music distribution. Therefore, conversion between the two technologies is necessary whenever music needs to pass through the connections. When connected to a Master Link setup, the BeoLink Converter NL/ML acts as a video master and can distribute the available sources via Master Link. An audio master must be present, since the BeoLink Converter NL/ML cannot be a powermaster within Master Link. The product is continuously active and does not need to be restarted when conversion is required. It can be mounted horizontally with a wall-mount bracket. Installation takes place via the product's web interface (the converter's IP address). When connected directly to a PC, the device is accessible via the standard link-local IP address 169.254.11.22.
