Barbie - Dollhouse Townhouse - 1970-1980 - U.S.

Mattel 1974 - Barbie's House "3-Story Townhouse / Stadthaus" - With Original Box - Vintage Description: In this auction one of the historical pillars of Barbie collecting: the famous 3-story house (3-Story Townhouse / La Maison de Barbie), originally produced by Mattel starting in 1974. This specific lot features the rare multilingual boxed variant (Italian, French, German and English). A true nostalgic journey back to the 1970s, famous for its iconic central transparent elevator operated manually by a string. • Lot contents: • Set of orange structural support pillars/columns. • Yellow elevator cabin with heart decoration. • White junction clips for panels. • Original plastic furniture in vibrant 70s colors included in the set: yellow three-seat sofa, yellow and orange armchairs/chairs, and the tables (blue and yellow). • Upholstered floral-patterned cushion/mat with animals (lambs/bunnies). • Original Box included (shown on both the multilingual front and the international back). • Set number / Code: Mattel No. 7825. • Manuals and Booklets: The original paper instruction manual is not included in the lot. Condition and Notes for the Collector: • The playset is used and shows classic vintage-era material characteristics. The orange pillars and plastic furniture components retain good color vitality, with no obvious structural breaks at first glance. • Important note on the backdrops: The cardboard printed panels depicting the rooms of the house are not visible in the loose lot and should be considered missing, or partially reduced to only the plastic structural and furnishing components shown in the photos. • The original box is included but shows significant age-related wear: there is extensive storage wear, notable tears, separations, and aging repairs made with yellowed adhesive tape along the edges and folding flaps (please review the dedicated photos carefully). • The set contains a good selection of interior furnishings, but it is not guaranteed to be 100% complete for every single clip or small hardware accessory. Dolls are not included. Please examine carefully and in detail each attached photograph to assess the exact condition of the box and included components before placing a bid.
