BAUME & MERCIER for VAN CLEEF & ARPELS Ladies’ shaped wristwatch in 18K gold (750 parts per thousand), sunburst gold dial, “Van Cleef & Arpels” inscription at six o’clock, Roman numeral hour markers in black decals, black sword-shaped hands. Clip-on case back in 18K gold (750 parts per thousand), reference 38232 2, numbered 487455, signed Baume & Mercier on the inside. Mechanical hand-wound movement signed Baume & Mercier. Black leather strap with a gold-plated pin buckle. The watch was in working order at the time of appraisal; however, there is no guarantee of future operation or the condition of the parts. Scratches on the case; slight signs of oxidation on the dial. Comes with its original Van Cleef & Arpels presentation box from the “Boutique des Heures.” Circa 1970 Dimensions: 21 x 27 mm Gross weight: 18.5 g
