Bayard (magazine) - Recueils N°27 à N°30 - 4 Album - First edition - 1958/1959

Very nice set of Bayard publisher bindings, numbers 27, 28, 29 and 30 from 1958-1959. The bindings have the spines, corners and headbands slightly worn. Interiors are often in perfect condition with sometimes a few small tears in the margins for binding 30. Crayon marks on the endpapers of 29. Only binding 28 is in a somewhat poorer state, with endpapers restored and traces of old tape on the back. The photos will give you an idea of the overall condition of the bindings. A fairly rare set in its run, featuring Ribéra’s strips (and his science-fiction series Tony Sextant), as well as strips by Forget, Chakir, westerns by Loys, etc. One of the great classics of French comic publications from the 1950s.
