Ben Dauchez - Triptyque Iggy - XL

Original work by photographer Ben DAUCHEZ from the IGGY POP series. This spectacular XXL-format print features IGGY POP, a pioneer of the punk movement and a true icon of the 20th century. This artwork is a digital photomontage created by Ben DAUCHEZ from photographs he took in 2014 in Paris, during a private photo session with IGGY. This edition, shown at the ARLES photography meetings, is the first print of a limited series of 5 copies in the specified format. The photograph directly from BEN DAUCHEZ's studio is numbered and signed by the artist. It will be delivered with a certificate of authenticity written and signed by the photographer. About BEN DAUCHEZ: Passionate about photography from a very young age, Ben began in the neighborhood studios of La Rochelle (France). There he acquired the full range of photography foundations—from classical technique to shooting and post-production, through the laboratory. At 22, freshly graduated, he moved to Paris to further his training by becoming a set assistant for Daguerre studios, Le Petit Oiseau va sortir, and Studio Zéro. Ben has been able to collaborate with and assist some of the most talented photographers: Bettina RHEIMS, Patrick DEMARCHELIER, Terry RICHARDSON, Ellen VON UNWERTH, Marcus MAM... From certain decisive encounters arose beautiful projects and long collaborations, notably with André RAU, Bettina RHEIMS (the sultry INRI exhibition and its eponymous book at Editions Albin Michel), Peter BEARD (the 2009 Pirelli calendar in Botswana). His photos have been published, among others, by Condé Nast Editions (French and international), Première, Wallpaper, ID, Madame Figaro, Lifestyles, Vogue, Dandy Magazine… His work also attracts brands with very distinct identities, for which he has created institutional and/or advertising campaigns: Dior (beauty), L'Oréal, Peugeot, Philip Morris, or Burger King (awarded at the Dubai Lynx), PEUGEOT Motorcycles, ... He has also shot numerous portraits of celebrities (IGGY POP, Woody ALLEN, Grace JONES, Jean DUJARDIN, Gilles LELLOUCHE, Olivier MARCHAL, Carole BOUQUET, Charlotte GAINSBOURG, Blake Lively…), beauty shots, portraits of men of the world (Olivier DASSAULT, Jacques SEGUELA...), and travelers… This photography path has since allowed him to freely capture the beauty, aesthetics, and spiritual essence of each personality.
