Benjamin Wouters (XX) - Helix – gesigneerd abstract...

Helix is an elegant and expressive abstract sculpture by the Belgian artist Benjamin Wouters (XX). The work is characterized by a powerful, flowing form in which the long lines twist around each other like a ribbon. The central loop creates a strong sense of movement, balance and continuity. Particularly striking is the contrast between the dark exterior and the vibrant turquoise/green patina on the inside. Because of the curved form, the play of light and shadow constantly changes when the sculpture is viewed from different angles. With a height of 56 cm, Helix has a beautiful, striking presence without dominating. The work especially comes into its own on a plinth, console, sideboard or in a modern interior, office, entrance or gallery. The sculpture is signed on the round base, as visible in the detail photos.
