Biasi - Original Vintage Mario De Biasi Poster, 1976 - 1970s

Original Vintage Mario De Biasi Poster – Montreal, 1976 80 x 50 A striking original vintage photography poster featuring Montreal, 1976 by renowned Italian photographer Mario De Biasi. Known for his powerful black-and-white imagery and masterful sense of composition, De Biasi captures the monumental scale of modern architecture through a perfectly symmetrical view of a towering skyscraper facade. The endless grid of windows creates an almost abstract geometric pattern, transforming a city building into a work of minimalist art. Photographed during the height of the modernist era, the image reflects the optimism, ambition, and visual language of 1970s urban architecture. The strong lines, dramatic perspective, and monochrome palette give the work a timeless sophistication that feels as contemporary today as it did nearly fifty years ago. Mario De Biasi was one of Italy’s most celebrated photographers, best known for his work with Epoca magazine and his iconic photographs of post-war Europe, New York, and cities around the world. His photographs are held in numerous important collections and remain highly regarded among photography collectors. A beautiful and increasingly difficult-to-find vintage poster for collectors of photography, architecture, modernist design, and 20th-century visual culture.
