Big Spring, Texas. $20 1902 Plain Back. Fr. 661. State NB. Charter #12543. PCGS Banknote Very Good 10 Details. Corner Replaced. A well-circulated note in technical terms that was issued during the 1920s. This specific piece was nonetheless issued by the State National Bank of Big Spring (Charter# 12543) which was organized in 1924 and lingered past 1935 and surprisingly remains in business under its original title from 1924 in the present while this exact note is one of 16 non-institutional notes recorded here by the National Bank Note Census. Unfortunately the signatures on this piece have faded while a comment stating "Corner Replaced" has been applied by PCGS Banknote, but should you hold regrets for not being able to claim the example which sold in our Summer 2026 Global Showcase Auction (Lot 21166) this is every bit a second chance not to be missed. PCGS Banknote comments "Corner Replaced." Estimate: $1,250 - $2,250. Provenance: From the Jack Copeland Currency Collection, Part IV. Click here for certification details from PCGS Banknote.
