Holz polychrom gefasst und part. vergoldet, dreiviertelplastisch geschnitzter Engelskopf mit fein gearbeiteter Lockenfrisur und Flügeln, Gesicht und Flügelbereich in zwei Teilen geschnitzt, HxB: ca. 21x29 cm. Alters- und Wurmfraßspuren, Fassung part. leicht beschädigt, am Hinterkopf alte Fehlstelle. | WOODCARVER, 17th/18th century, Baroque angel’s head, polychrome wood with partial gilding; angel’s head carved in three-quarter relief with an intricately styled curly hairstyle and wings; the face and wing area carved in two separate pieces; H x W: approx. 21 x 29 cm. Signs of age and worm damage; the paintwork is slightly damaged in places; an old loss to the back of the head. SHIPPING TO THE USA MUST BE ARRANGED BY THE BUYER.
