Bill Zygmant – Paul McCartney – 1968 – Rare Signed Original Photograph Paul McCartney – 1968 A striking original black-and-white photograph of Paul McCartney, taken by British photographer Bill Zygmant in 1968. This is an unusually intimate close-up portrait of Paul, capturing him in a relaxed, informal moment. Photographs of Paul McCartney taken by Bill Zygmant are considerably less commonly encountered than Bill’s photographs of John Lennon and other Beatles. During this period Paul was closely associated with his own photographic coverage, making a signed Bill Zygmant portrait of Paul a particularly interesting addition to a Beatles photographic collection. The photograph is personally signed by Bill Zygmant in blue ink, with the date 1968 written beneath his signature. Provenance This photograph was personally given to me by Bill Zygmant himself. I lived with Bill for a period of time and he personally gave me a number of his photographs and cameras before I subsequently helped repatriate him to the UK.
