Carl Zeiss Jena Colposcope / Examination Microscope with Articulated Arm and Integrated Power Supply. Product Description & Details For sale is a professional, robust optical examination unit (surgical microscope / colposcope) of high quality, complete with a flexible articulated swinging arm, integrated power supply. This set combines precision engineering with extensive functionality. 1. Microscope Head & Optics * Manufacturer quality: The optics originate from Carl Zeiss Jena, renowned for excellent glass quality. * Condition of the lenses: The glass and optics are clear, not milky and show no clouding or scratches. * Function & settings: Binocular view with adjustable oculars, diopter adjustment, and precise focusing controls. * Tested illumination: The integrated lighting has been successfully tested. The electrical system (plug/cable) works flawlessly, and the lamp shines brightly. * Note on the housing: In the front area of the lamp cover on the housing, a cover or a specific accessory device may be missing. This does not affect the function of the light, but absolute completeness of the housing cannot be guaranteed (see close-up photos). 2. Articulated Arm & Power Supply * Flexibility: The multi-jointed heavy-duty support arm enables stable and highly flexible positioning of the microscope in the room. * Stability: Solid locking knobs (red and black) securely fix the device in the desired position. * Integrated transformer: The power supply housing at the base of the arm is equipped with an on/off switch, a voltage selector (100–240 V), and the socket for the illumination cable. 3. Interaction of Arm & Microscope The microscope head is mounted on the articulated arm via the integrated guide rail. The interaction yields a stable, ergonomic system for precise work with a large movement radius. 4. Comprehensive accessories Included is an original Carl Zeiss Jena accessory case (light-colored housing with red logo). This contains: * Device + large black case * Various filters: Blue and clear optical filter plates for different contrast examinations. * Spare parts / small parts: A pair of spare rubber eyecups and a spare bulb (both brand-new/originally packaged).
