This Blancpain X Swatch watch pays homage to Blancpain's Fifty Fathoms, the first true diving watch. The beige case and crown are made of Bioceramic. The word "Swatch" is engraved on the left external side of the case. The metal dial is printed in multiple color layers for a graduated effect. At the bottom of the dial there is a special symbol: a red clover on a yellow background with a white cross running through it. The inscription "NO RADIATIONS" under the logo is a nod to the legendary heritage of the Fifty Fathoms and to the rich history of dive watches of the sixties. The indices, hour and minute hands, and the bezel scale are accented with Super-LumiNova grade A for exceptional readability in the dark. The beige Bioceramic unidirectional rotating bezel and the glass of biological origin are treated with a scratch-resistant coating. The SISTEM51 mechanical movement is visible thanks to a transparent sapphire crystal and features a digital-printed image of the Arctic Ocean and the nudibranch Dendronotus frondosus. On the back of the watch there are five short messages: PASSION FOR DIVING (passion for diving) LICENCE TO EXPLORE (license to explore) OCEAN BREATH (breath of the ocean) PROTECT WHAT YOU LOVE (protect what you love) and IMMERSE YOURSELF (immerse yourself).
