Bookends (2) - Wood - the Amsterdam School

Beautiful pair of original Art Deco / Amsterdam bookends with a pronounced geometric design, typical of the early 1920s-1930s. This set combines sleek, cubist shapes with a warm, artisanal character. The bookends are made from two contrasting woods (dark brown/black and warm reddish-brown). The sides are decorated with striking, round discs that mimic the characteristic concentric circles of malachite, creating a beautiful color contrast with the wood. A very decorative and functional set that fits perfectly in both a classic Art Deco interior and a modern, eclectic decor. Dimensions: 15.5 cm high by 14 cm wide and 9 cm deep. Weight: 1280 grams. Carefully packaged, sent by registered mail and insured. Not shipped to the United States.
