Pair of decorative engraved glass bottles with floral decoration – Europe, mid-20th century Elegant pair of vintage decorative bottles in transparent glass, characterized by refined engraved workmanship and gold details. The two bottles feature an ovoid body resting on a wide circular base and a distinctive neck developed through three raised rings, highlighted by thin gold threads. The upper edge is also embellished with gilding. Particularly interesting is the central decoration, created by satin-etched glass, depicting floral elements surrounded by stylized vegetal motifs. Small touches of gold applied to the foliage create an elegant contrast with the matte parts. The two bottles share the same design and the same decorative technique, forming a coordinated pair. In terms of formal and decorative characteristics, the ensemble can be traced to European production of the first half of the 20th century, with comparisons found in the Central European and Bohemian tradition of decorated glass. In the absence of marks or original labels, however, it is not possible to attribute the bottles with certainty to a specific manufacturer or country of production. An interesting decorative pair, particularly suitable for a collection of vintage European glass or for styling a bar cabinet. Item: pair of decorative bottles/cruets Quantity: 2 Material: transparent glass Technique: shaped glass with engraved/satin-decorated ornament Decoration: vegetal and floral motifs Finish: gilded details and threads Dimensions, larger bottle: approximately 24 × 12 cm Dimensions, smaller bottle: approximately 21 × 6.5 cm Total weight: 1.030 kg Marks/signatures: not detected Area: Europe, possible Central European production Estimated period: about 1930–1960 Condition Good general condition for the age. The glass shows normal signs of use and small irregularities consistent with the manufacturing process and era. The engraved decoration is clearly legible. There are abrasions and losses of the gilding, particularly evident on the upper edges, on the neck threads, and in some details of the decoration. From the photographs I do not detect significant cracks; any minor imperfections are documented in the images. The bottles are presented without stoppers, as shown in the photographs. Shipping: careful and professional packing, with particular protection for each bottle. Tracked shipping.
