Box (3) - Brass, Wood - & shell ashtray

Beautiful maritime object set, including: - 2 brass boxes of different sizes (approx. 9 x 4.5 x 2 cm and 7 x 4 x 2 cm), topped with a copper sea anchor in relief. Rectangular in shape with rounded corners, hinged lid. Historically pocket tobacco boxes, these pretty boxes are collected, used in decoration or for storing small items. Very good overall condition (slight scratches and wear). - 1 rectangular wooden box with a brass anchor on the lid, red fabric lining inside. Dimensions approx. 14 x 8 x 3 cm. Contains a compass (diameter 3.5 cm) and a small magnifying glass (7.5 x diameter 3 cm). Good overall condition (one additional item missing from the box - slight oxidation traces on the compass and the magnifying glass). - 1 superb ashtray made from a natural shell (Turbo marmoratus). The shell has been carefully polished, slightly trimmed underneath to ensure stability, and equipped with a cigarette rest in silvered metal. Very beautiful usable and decorative object, highlighting the natural iridescent nacre of the shell. Dimensions approx. height 7 x 10 x 9 cm. Excellent condition (a minuscule chip on the edge, barely visible). Please also refer to the photos which are an integral part of the description.
