Box - Gilt brass

Very pretty antique glove box from the Napoleon III era, dating from the second half of the 19th century around 1860. This elegant rectangular blackened wood box is characteristic of refined objects under Napoleon III. The lid features a charming decorative of brass and light wood. The interior is red satin, in good condition. The box is in good condition, just a few signs of wear related to its age (see photo).
