Box - Wood - Haute Couture / Napoleon III

Very beautiful and important sewing box from the Napoléon III era dating from the second half of the 19th century, around 1860. The box is made of veneered wood and features a rich light maple wood decorative pattern. Remarkable marquetry work. We have a mother-of-pearl escutcheon that shows the quality of the product. This sewing box has two levels of storage; it is in good condition, we can only note that in the first removable compartment there are cracks. With its original key.
