Michael Gerard Tyson (Brooklyn, New York, 30 June 1966) is a former American boxer who competed in the heavyweight division. He is one of the most legendary boxers of all time. His nickname is Iron Mike. He has been world champion in the heavyweight division three times and was the youngest heavyweight champion ever at age 20. Larry Holmes (Cuthbert, 3 November 1949) is an American former world heavyweight boxing champion. As champion, Holmes defended his title 20 times successfully, including against Earnie Shavers, Muhammad Ali, Gerry Cooney, Tim Witherspoon and James "Bonecrusher" Smith. This is the second most defenses after Joe Louis, who defended his title 25 times. Holmes was undefeated in his first 48 fights. He lost to Michael Spinks by a controversial decision in 1985. Consequently, he could not break Rocky Marciano's record, who retired undefeated after 49 fights. After losing the rematch with Spinks on a disputed decision, Holmes retired at the age of 36. Later Holmes made a comeback. He lost title bouts to Mike Tyson in 1988, by KO in round 4; to Evander Holyfield in 1992, after 12 rounds; and to Oliver McCall in 1995, in 12 rounds.
