Breath of Silence - Elena Lukina

Breath of Silence by Elena Lukina Painting 19.7 x 19.7 :: ""Breath of Silence"" is Piece No.11 within the conceptual project ""The Pavilion of Silence"". As part of the series ""IN MINOR KEYS: THE TURQUOISE SILENCE"" this work is built on mirror reflection. The sharp contrast between the smooth almost ethereal sky and the dynamic water creates the physiological effect of a deep breath. It is a captured moment of absolute silence in perfect balance. Executed directly on premium Italian Caravaggio linen canvas the rich impasto texture functions as an introspective chamber of calm. Infused with the conceptual sound frequency of 432 Hz resonance this 50x50 cm square artwork is designed as an architectural space for meditation and deep structured quiet.
