Breguet - 'Classique' - 18 Carat Yellow Gold - Never Worn! - Ref

Welcome to my Top Swiss Chronographs Boutique! Breguet dates to 1775, when Abraham-Louis Breguet established his watchmaking firm in Paris. A-L Breguet is now regarded as the single most influential watchmaker of all time. During his lifetime, Breguet pioneered many watchmaking techniques, as well as what is considered to be the world's first wristwatch in 1810. There aren't many watchmakers who have a reputation for simultaneously producing delicate, understated dress watches and powerhouse luxury tool watches quite like Breguet. The fluted coin-edge case body and the charismatic executions of dial furniture have made this cohesion possible. This demonstrates that although this tool watch on paper is worlds away from a dress watch, they're undoubtedly singing from the same hymn sheet. Now, that's one hell of a testament to Breguet's ability. Breguet Classique Ref. 5910 combines the traditional Breguet aesthetic with an ultra-thin automatic movement and a practical date display. The watch carries the principal visual signatures associated with Breguet: an engine-turned dial, clear Roman numerals, blued hands, finely fluted case sides and slender straight lugs. Together, these give it the appearance of a traditional Breguet pocket watch translated into a compact wristwatch. The guilloché deserves a close-up in your advertisement. Breguet describes hand-operated guillochage on traditional lathes as one of its defining crafts. On your particular example, the precise pattern and dial markings should be confirmed from photographs. Design: - includes virtually every classic Breguet signature: - hand-turned guilloché silver dial - welded straight lugs - coin-edge (fluted) caseband - secret signature engraved into the dial - Roman numerals - blued pomme ("moon") hands - central seconds hand - date aperture at 3 o'clock Unlike the simpler 5157, the 5910 adds a discreet date while keeping a perfectly balanced dial. Movement: - automatic in-house Breguet Cal. 591 calibre - power-reserve 38 hours - 25 jewels - frequency 28.800 A/h, 4 Hz - silicon escape wheel and lever Case: - 750 yellow gold - polished - all sides have a ribbed surface, which is typical for Breguet watches - diameter 34mm excl. crown, 36,1mm incl. - thickness 7mm only - length: 40,6mm lug to lug Anti-reflective sapphire crystal Crown: - 750 yellow gold - polished with raised logo shield - pull/push Case-back: - 750 yellow gold - polished - solid with engravings - unique number 1436K, best proof of authenticity - a beautiful signature Breguet pattern engraved around the circumference Dial: - hand-guilloché solid silver - flame-blued steel Breguet hands - chic black Roman numerals - central seconds hand - date aperture at 03:00 o'clock position - minute markers around the outer rim Bezel: - 750 yellow gold - polished - multilayer - fixed Strap: - brand-new brown leather, alligator grain on cow - chic beige stitches - length: 20,5cm incl. wristwatch itself - width: 19mm by lugs, 15mm by clasp Pin buckle: - original Breguet, special shape - 750 yellow gold - polished - all stamps confirming the 750 gold standard can be found on the reverse side of the buckle (see pics) Weight: 52 grams Water resistant to 30meter/3ATM/100feet: OK for light splashes, rain, hand-washing; highly risky for showering or swimming. Extremely high recognition value. Distinctive design. Excellent condition, never worn: the wristwatch comes from luxury watch-shop showcase; that's why the strap is replaced with brand new one, alligator grain on cow (leather straps often suffer from temperature in shop windows due to powerful spotlights). Chic wooden watch box (see pics). General professional pre-sale service was made in September 2026: the watch is keeping good time and working perfectly. My personal authenticity and quality warranty: you will get warranty card (as pictured), fully completed, stamped and signed. My impeccable seller reputation speaks for itself: look at my feedbacks and sales ratings. Insured, registered shipping worldwide with Intl. Express service: it’s not cheap, and yet fast and reliable, two days in Europe, three days for the rest of this world. All photos were taken personally by me and correspond to the exact wrist watch you are placing your bid on. Why is Breguet so expensive? Breguet also has a team of 20 artisans who work the guilloché dial, a feature that has long become a legacy worthy of preservation. In a nutshell, Breguet invests in ensuring that they create timepieces that surpass the market's expectations, a reason why their watches sell for high prices. Collector appeal: - genuine Breguet DNA throughout - superb hand-guilloché dial - thin and elegant - reliable 72-hour automatic movement - considerably less expensive than equivalent Patek Philippe or Vacheron Constantin dress watches - excellent value on the secondary market Collectibility: Among modern Breguet dress watches, the 5920 is often considered a "hidden gem." It offers nearly everything enthusiasts seek in a traditional Breguet—coin-edge case, hand-guilloché dial, blued hands, and an in-house movement—at a significantly lower price than many competing haute horlogerie dress watches. It is especially attractive to collectors who appreciate classical watchmaking over contemporary oversized designs. With its warm yellow gold, finely guilloché dial and unmistakable blued Breguet hands, this Classique 5910 brings more than two centuries of watchmaking tradition to the wrist with quiet elegance.
