ABOUT THE ARTIST Bri Debernardi is a French contemporary painter based in Provence, whose work stands out for a strong pictorial identity, remarkable mastery of color, and sophisticated handling of matter and movement. Nurtured by a life between Europe, South America and Africa, her painting blends the intensity of South American colors with Mediterranean light. Superpositions, transparencies, scraffos and contrasts compose works rich in depth, each detail unique and impossible to reproduce exactly. UNDERSTANDING THE DIMENSIONS The dimensions of the canvas shipped are larger than the final format indicated in order to preserve the margin necessary for mounting on a frame. Typically expect about 4 to 7.5 cm of margin on each side, depending on the work’s format. Example: a raw canvas of 145 cm × 145 cm is intended to be mounted on a frame of about 130 × 130 cm, leaving 7.5 cm on each side for proper tension.
