British School (XIX-XX) - Scottish Highland Landscape

A fine and highly atmospheric late 19th or early 20th-century watercolor painting belonging to the British School, beautifully capturing the poetic and melancholy essence of the Scottish Highlands or Northern English moors. The tonal, muted palette perfectly channels the Late Victorian and Edwardian landscape tradition. The work is monogrammed in the lower-left corner (appears to read F.A.F. ) and ready to hang.
