Bronze set – two Thai temple figures with gold staffage...

Decorative two-piece bronze set featuring two highly ornate Southeast Asian figures. Both figures are depicted in traditional dress with tall headdresses, fine ornamentation, and gold-colored accented garments. The surfaces show a pronounced greenish-turquoise patina combined with gold accents, making the delicate details particularly stand out. The larger figure is crafted in an elegant, slightly dynamic pose. One arm is raised, the other is guided downward to the side. Notably striking are the tall pointed headdress, the richly patterned garment, and the elaborately ornamented chest and shoulder area. The figure stands on a separate black wooden base. The smaller figure is depicted with hands joined in front of the chest in a respectful or greeting gesture. Here too, the headdress, jewelry elements, and the long, finely textured robe are highly detailed. It stands on a roundly worked base. The figures show age- and usage-related patina, oxidation marks, wear, discolorations, and minor surface irregularities. The black bases also show visible signs of use.
