Möbel- oder Wagenbeschlag in Form eines mythologischen Frauengesichts im hellenistisch-römischen Stil mit klassisch idealisierten Zügen und gewelltem Haar. Die Oberfläche weist eine grüne Patina und Rostflecken auf, L: 12 cm. Schöner fragmentarischer Erhaltungszustand mit guter Oberflächenerhaltung des Gesichts und Abrisskanten an den Haarseiten und am Hals. Zusatzinformation: Keine Unterlagen anbei, die das angenommene Alter bestätigen. | Bronze appliqué. ROMAN, probably 1st–3rd century. Furniture or chariot fitting in the form of a mythological woman’s face in the Hellenistic-Roman style, with classically idealized features and wavy hair. The surface shows a green patina and rust spots; L: 12 cm. In a beautiful, fragmentary state of preservation with good surface condition on the face and chipped edges along the sides of the hair and at the neck.
