Antique gold-silver crescent brooch set in a moon shape, set with rose-cut diamonds Special antique brooch executed in a graceful moon shape, made from a combination of gold and silver and richly studded with rose-cut diamonds. The brooch features an openwork design with two curved rows of diamonds following the shape of a horseshoe. Between these rows are three larger rose-cut diamonds, of which the middle one is placed centrally at the bottom. The remaining diamonds vary in size and are mounted individually in silver settings. The combination of gold and silver is characteristic of antique diamond jewelry, with silver used for the settings and gold for the back and securing mechanism.
