Art Deco white gold and platinum brooch pin with diamonds – ca. 1920–1935 Refined Art Deco brooch pin, made from a mix of white gold & platinum settings and set with diamonds. The pin has an elongated, geometric design with detailed openwork and fine milgrain finishes, characteristic of the Art Deco period. Description The brooch has an elongated, gently curved shape that gradually narrows from the center to both ends. Centrally there are three larger diamonds in round settings, surrounded by smaller diamonds and refined decorative details. The design is characterized by a symmetrical composition of geometric patterns, openwork elements and fine milgrain edges. On either side of the central diamonds are stylized, fan-shaped motifs and smaller diamond settings. The combination of the geometric form, the detailed openwork and the diamonds is typical of jewelry from the Art Deco period.
