Stunning 19th-century Victorian shell cameo brooch featuring exquisite hand-carved Neoclassical detail. Subject: Depicts Hebe, goddess of youth, feeding Zeus in the form of an eagle. High-relief carving with crisp detail on hair tresses, drapery, and feathers. Frame & Hardware: Gold bezel setting featuring an Etruscan Revival braided/twisted rope border design. Brooch with safety chain. Markings: Stamped hallmark on the reverse rim/bezel, alongside subtle jeweler workbench inscriptions on the back of the shell. Condition: Excellent antique condition with crisp carving and a secure setting
