Art Deco diamond brooch in platinum and 18-karat yellow gold Refined Art Deco brooch crafted with a front in platinum and a back including pin mechanism in 18-karat yellow gold, both joined via XRF analysis. The elongated form, refined openwork details and millegriffing finish are characteristic of the elegant jewelry from the Art Deco period. centrally the brooch is set with seven old-cut brilliant diamonds with a total weight of approximately 0.68 ct, consisting of: * 1 x ca. 0.16 ct * 2 x ca. 0.12 ct * 2 x ca. 0.09 ct * 2 x ca. 0.05 ct The diamonds have a quality ranging from VS2 to SI2 and a color of F. In addition, the brooch is richly set with 76 simple cut diamonds of approximately 0.005 to 0.02 ct per stone, which provide the design with a refined sparkle and strengthen the characteristic Art Deco appearance.
