Elegant vintage yellow-gold tie pin (stick pin) featuring a refined design of a “lover’s knot” that encloses at its center a stone cut antique (probably quartz). The stem is a helical twist, typical of Victorian/Edwardian tie pins. The head shows a fine-grained finish and scalloped details that emphasize the volume of the knot. Stored in its original burgundy red velvet box with cream satin interior. On the inner lid is printed: “The Leading London Goldsmiths – Sander London – 10, High St, Lewisham” with branches listed: Peckham, Oxford Street, Putney, Brixton, Streatham and Birmingham. The box shows light signs of aging (stains and silk wear), but remains complete and highly collectible. The pin is in good overall condition, with a wear patina consistent with the era.
