Bruce Springsteen Unpublished Lyrics

Handwritten working lyrics by Bruce Springsteen, comprising six lines in blue ink with several corrections and revisions. The lyrics begin, "Do you remember the first day / when there was no day or night," and continue with imagery of a young world, the sun, moon and morning. The manuscript shows Springsteen's creative process through crossed-out words and rewritten passages. The lyrics appear to be unpublished and unreleased, with no known corresponding commercially released Springsteen song identified. Presented in a framed display with a photograph of Springsteen. An unusual original songwriting manuscript from one of the most important American songwriters of the rock era. Estimate $1,000 - $2,000
