Bruno Bani (1964) - "Satellite" Year: 2026 Color: Red, white and gold Size: 30 x 30 cm Technique: Mixed media This fascinating work by Bruno Bani, titled "Satellite", is a perfect example of his mastery of geometry and light. Created on three overlapped canvases painted in three distinct colors — red, white, and gold — this creation reflects the simplicity of forms and the purity of colors, characteristic of Bani's art. The geometry of the stacked canvases creates a layered composition that adds depth and dynamism to the piece. The clean lines and essential shapes evoke a minimalist aesthetic, allowing focus on the fundamental elements of color and form. The application of gold leaf adds a touch of magnificence and light to the work, making it particularly evocative. The white LED light, positioned between the first canvas and the round element, enhances the volumes and creates an elegant and measured visual effect, capable of transforming spatial perception and establishing a subtle dialogue between light and matter. Note: the gold leaf reacts dynamically to external light. The incidence and direction of the light source can generate reflections and varying hues, slightly altering the visual perception of the work depending on the viewing point. "Satellite" is not just a painting, but an installation that symbolically represents an element of space. This theme recurs in Bruno Bani's works, known for his ability to evoke the infinity and mystery of space through precise geometries and LED and UV lights.
