A voracious and spontaneous creator, Bruno Cantais lives in Lyon; he explores several techniques, ranging from abstract expressionism to Rauchenberg or De Kooning, to matter projections in the style of Georges Mathieu, to Pop Art collage or the expressionism of Karel Appel, who straddles the borders between abstract gesture and figurative representation. But his signature remains always this physical painting, this material worked with the body, a testimony of the artist's intimate monologue. Artist represented at the gallery Les couleurs de l'éternité in France, gallery modern dutchart in the Netherlands. Listed on Artprice, Drouot and Akoun since 2005. Atelier Maeght in 2005.
