An impulsive and spontaneous creator, Bruno Cantais lives in Lyon. He explores several techniques, from Abstract Expressionism to Rauschenberg or De Kooning, to material projections in the style of Georges Mathieu, to Pop Art collage, and to the expressionism of Karel Appel, which traverses the boundaries between abstract gesture and figurative representation. But his signature remains that physical painting, the material worked with the body, a testament to the artist's intimate monologue.
