An impulsive and spontaneous creator, Bruno Cantais lives in Lyon; he explores several techniques, ranging from abstract expressionism to Rauschenberg or De Kooning, to matter projections in the Georges Mathieu style, to Pop Art collage, or to the expressionism of Karel Appel, which traverses the borders between abstract gesture and figurative representation. But his signature remains this physical painting, this material worked with the body, a testament to the artist's intimate monologue. An artist represented by the gallery Les Couleurs de l'Éternité in France, Gallery Modern Dutchart in the Netherlands. On Artprice, Drouot, and Akoun since 2005. Maeght Atelier in 2005. Recently participated in the Art3f fair in Lyon. Recent exhibitions in Chișinău (Moldova), Cannes, Pézenas, and Lyon — Abbaye de Paul Bocuse, gala evening 2023.
