DESCRIPTION BULOVA Shelby GT500 for Bulova's 150th anniversary Limited Edition piece number 4269/7500 In 2025 Bulova celebrates its 150th anniversary: we’ve already covered the special editions of the Mill-Ships and the Lunar Pilot, today we’ll take a look at the SHELBY Racer Chronograph from the 150th Anniversary collection — often referred by media and retailers as the “Shelby Racing Chronograph” or “Bulova Racing Chronograph” — a limited edition of 7,500 pieces, of which 600 are destined for Italy. DESCRIPTION The iconic blue and white Shelby Cobra racing stripes are a symbol of American power. Now, that same spirit is captured on the wrist with the launch of a new special chronograph by Bulova to celebrate its 150th anniversary. The watchmaker, with a long history in car racing, collaborates with Shelby to create a limited-edition timepiece that combines high-precision timing with the legendary muscle car style. The new Bulova x Shelby Racing Chronograph is a direct homage to the ’67 GT500. The watch features a bold 43 mm stainless steel bullhead case, with the chronograph pushers positioned on the top, reminiscent of a classic chronometer. Its design is unmistakable, with the Shelby blue and white color scheme on the durable rubber strap and on the dial. The legendary Carroll Shelby Cobra icon is highlighted on one of the subdials, reinforcing the bond between the two brands. Under the sapphire crystal, the watch is a concentrate of technology. This 150th anniversary special edition is powered by the Precisionist movement, exclusive to the brand. This high-frequency quartz movement at 262 kHz delivers incredible precision and enables the eight-hand chronograph to measure time to 1/1000th of a second. The high-frequency movement also gives the chronograph hand a smooth, fluid motion, a characteristic usually associated with mechanical watches. A true collectible piece, production is limited to just 7,500 units worldwide. Each watch will come with a numbered caseback engraved with Carroll Shelby’s signature. The gift packaging adds an extra touch of class for enthusiasts, as it includes a 1:24 scale die-cast model of the GT500. The watch, available from September 10, is a worthy tribute to an era of speed and precision, making Bulova’s 150th anniversary a celebration of both watchmaking and automotive history. Who this chronograph is for For those who experience racing watchmaking as a technical language before an aesthetic one and want a high-frequency quartz with a compelling reason under the hood. The bullhead formula + Precisionist NN10 is rare: you’re not just buying a look here, but a coherent set of functions aligned with use. For those who drive often, the 12 o’clock buttons make practical sense; for photographers, the blue soleil and the case volumes interact well with light; for collectors, the Shelby partnership and the celebratory set add a compelling backstory beyond the technical specs. Special promotion to demonstrate Bulova’s commitment to quality and durability. For a limited time, we offer a 5-year Special and Official Warranty. This exclusive offer is a token of appreciation for your trust and loyalty. Don’t miss the chance to benefit from this extended warranty.
