Burmese amber - Amber - Burmese Amber – 10 Pieces with...

Exceptional collection of 10 polished Burmese amber pieces with different fossil inclusions from the Cretaceous, about 99 million years old. The total weight is 12.93 g. The amber contains various insects and other organic inclusions. There are also plant remains, fine fibers and natural resin structures. Particularly interesting is the diversity of included materials. Some amber pieces stand out for their good transparency, while others contain dark organic particles and larger plant fragments. This collection thus offers different insights into the fossil life of the Cretaceous. The inclusions are partly very small and are best viewed under a magnifying glass or a microscope. The exact taxonomic assignment of individual organisms has not been conclusively determined.
