Description: Beautiful and exquisitely refined antique French bronze bust of a young woman, dating from the Belle Époque / Art Nouveau period (circa 1900). The relief depicts a young lady with a dreamy, elegant facial expression and a lush, detailed updo gracefully adorned with flowers and leaves. The piece is cast in 100% solid bronze (guaranteed, with no regule/spelter alloy). This patina brings out the depth and the fine details of the casting – such as the individual strands of hair, the roses in the hair, and the subtle folds in the clothing – beautifully. The bust rests on a heavy, square pedestal of stylish veined black marble, connected by an elegantly formed bronze neck shaft. An exceptionally elegant, decorative, and investment-worthy collectible.
