Byzantine Bronze Lock component with bird motif (No reserve price)

The dot-shaped decorations on the body of the bronze bird, its clearly formed beak and the long horizontal protrusion give this object its own character. The maker thus also left a part of his imagination in the mechanism. We do not know which object it once protected. That object has disappeared today, but the desire to keep it for himself still has a tangible form. Object: Part of a lock with a bird figure Culture: Byzantine Material: Bronze Weight: 14.5 g Dimensions: 46.5 mm

Estimate:£177.47
