Byzantine Bronze Ring with Ring-and-Dot Decoration – 5th to 7th Century AD A Byzantine bronze finger ring featuring a broad circular bezel decorated with a carefully arranged pattern of punched ring-and-dot motifs. A central circular element is surrounded by additional punched circles distributed across the surface, creating a balanced geometric composition characteristic of Byzantine personal jewellery. The slender hoop expands gently toward the bezel, while the surface preserves extensive archaeological patina, mineral deposits and age-related wear consistent with prolonged burial.
