Ca. AD 600. A circular gold applique embossed with the frontal image of a male saint in high relief, wearing a tunic with long sleeves. The figure holds an indistinct object in the left hand, while the right arm is raised across the chest. A red cabochon is set in a raised bezel above the head. The border is framed with a twisted gold wire, with four small perforations placed around the edge for attachment.
