Early A.C. Gilbert Erector dealer's countertop spare parts display cabinet, circa 1920, featuring a glazed wood case with its original Erector decal affixed to the glass lid, now exhibiting significant sun fading. The interior is fitted with labeled compartments containing an assortment of original Erector replacement parts including girders, plates, gears, propellers, wheels, screws, nuts, and other hardware. A desirable and seldom-seen dealer accessory intended for retail parts sales. Cabinet exhibits expected age-related wear, finish wear, some loose edge pieces, and oxidation to some metal components. Glass remains intact. Contents have not been collated for completeness and are being sold with what is shown. Overall cabinet approx. 20.5 x 12.25 x 3.7 inches. From the remarkable lifetime Collection of Michael Kent. Estimate $500 - $1000
